Chang Tso-lin's forces, with his numerous allies, are steadily overpowering the opposition and driving towards Hankow. A British wireless message confirms the report of the recapture of Pukow by the Southerners without fighting. Fighting is occurring on half-a-dozen fronts from Nanking to Hankow, and the situation is most confusing.
