HIS SECOND CLASSIC.

H. EVA TRAINS OAKS WINNER. To train the winner of one of Ellerslie's classics is an event which always has pleasant memories for a trainer, and naturally Mr. H. Eva, who is located at To Aroha, was in happy mood when Flying Juliet Mashed passed the judge to-day a winner of the Great Northern Oak*, the only classic confined to three-year-old fillies decided in the North Island during: a season's racing. H. Eva has been training horses for many years. but to-day marked only the second occasion upon which a classic race has fallen to one of his team, the first occasion being when he won the Avondali! Guineas some years ago with Cyresian, owned by Mr. Harold Brown. " Flying Juliet is a fine filly to train " said Eva to-day. " She has no vices, but is a very playful filly.' , Eva broke her in as a yearling, and has had her all the time.
