OPPOSED IN CHRISTCHURCH. LABOUR FACTION DEFEATED. (Isr Telosrapn—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. By a majority of one vote, the Cliristeliurch City Council deckled last night to recommend to the incoming council that it refuse all applications for permission to hold political meetings in licensed buildings on .Sundays. The resolution was opposed by the Labour councillors, and by the Labour Mavor. Rev. J. K. Archer.
