RUSSIA PLEASED.
"THE WORKERS IN REVOLT.
MOSCOW, March 22.
The news of the capture of Shanghai by "the workers in revolt" has led to spontaneous meetings being held at mills and factories, says the official Tass news agenoy.
These meetings developed into impressive processions to the city. Numerous demonstrations also took place at Leningrad, Kharkoff, Odessa, Kieff, and elsewhere.
The "Izvestia" says:—"The victory will consolidate the position of the Kuomintang. The Powers will now have to choose between an agreement with or a struggle against, the national revolutionary movement."
