GOVERNMENT OFFICES CLOSING.

Although no public holiday has been declared in Auckland many business places are closing of their own accord, and there is no doubt most people will be allowed sufficient time to see the arrival of the big battleship and the procession of their Royal Highnesses up town from the wharf to Government House, and then from Government House to the Town Hall. Government Offices in Auckland will be closed from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. tomorrow, and all day Wednesday, The Auckland Stock Exchange will hold the first call to-morrow at 12.15 o'clock, and Wednesday will be observed as a complete holiday.
