BUST DAY FOR TRAMS.

WHOLE FLEET ENGAGED. The full resources of the Tramwav Department will be used to-morrow to deal with the record crowds that are expected, and nearly 200 cars will be running on accelerated schedule. All routes will be open to cope with the tremendous volume of traffic until !).o0 a.m. From that time on the Parneil route will be closed. Until 10.15 a.m. trams from Eemuera, Great South Road and Onehunga will run to the Grafton Bridge intersection, where some will be diverted via Upper Queen Street, and others will run via Symonds Street to the foot of Wellesley Street. After 9.30 a.m. the tram service in Queen Street, below Wellesley Street, will be suspended. In addition to the trams the full resources of the municipal feeder-bus services will be employed throughout the day.
