SAFE-BLOWING CHARGES.
DAMAGED CASH-BOX FOUND. BROTHERS TO STAND TRIAL. fßy Telegraph.—Press AssoclatJon.l PALMERSTON NORTH, Saturday. The hearing of evidence in connection with the alleged safe-blowing and other charges against three brothers, Albert George Windsor, Frederick Joseph Windsor and Lawrence Egmont Windsor, was concluded at the Police Court this morning. Accused pleaded not guilty, and were committed for trial, on the charge of breaking and entering the railway office at Levin. The hearing of a charge of breaking and entering Pahiatua railway station on the same day and stealing cheques and money of the value of £20 was then commenced. Detective Russell said that Albert Windsor, on being taken to Manawatu Gorge, had found on the roadside a damaged cash box and a portion of a till, which he admitted bad been taken from Prhifttua station by the three of them. Accused, who pleaded not guilty, were committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
