IMMORAL SPENDING.
Labourites Refuse to Meet King. MONET FOE POOR. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, February IT. Tbc Labourite members of Glasgow municipality have declined to participate in the ceremonies during their Majesties' visit to open Kelvin Hall in July, declaring that it is immoral to expend £10.000. If that sum is available it ought to be utilised in taking poor women to the seaside, or entertaining the children of the unemployed.
The council decided to continue its preparation*.
