DOMINIONS' WELFARE.
CONFERENCE OF GOVERNORS. LONDON, February 17. The political correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" has learned that the Secretary of State for the Dominions, Mr. L. C. M. S. Amery. intends to take advantage of the presence in London next summer of a number of colonial Governors to hold a formal conference. One of the subjects to be discussed will be whether it would be desirable to hold a conference of colonial Governors regularly each year, immediately after the meeting of the Imperial Conference, in order to consider questions affecting the colonies.
