OBITUARY.
MRS. JL B. FEARON.
An old resident of New Zealand. Mrs. R. B. Fearon, died at Auckland on February 14. She was the wife of Mr. Roger Barnes Fearon, and their golden wedding anniversary occurred four days prior to her decease, but could not be celebrated, as she was very ill in the hospital. Mrs. Fearon was bora in Surrey, England, ami went to Australia with her parents when two years of age. Twelve years later the family returned to Eugland, but a couple of years afterwards Mrs. Fearon (then Miss Siminond«) came to New Zealand in the ship .Star of India. She landed at Wellington. and made the trip to Bulls by .1 bullock dray. Five years after her arrival she was married to Mr. R. B. Fearon at Marton. For the last thirty years Mr. and Mrs. Fearon have lived in Auckland. Mrs. Fearon is survived by her husband, now 77 years of age, also the following children: Messrs. l\ E., C. G., and L. R- Fearon, Rev. H. Douglas Fearon (South Yarra. Melbourne). Mesdames I. J. Ryan. W. Lapworth, A. Cummiugs. Lee. and Ludgate.
