RACE TO TE KUME. j The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron 1 hold a crvising race to Te 'lume to-morrow for the first and yachts, and ] a harbour race for class SI. The events I will start between the ;r on King's wharf and a dinghy moored north. { The keel yachts race will start at 2.15, (the entries being: Waitangl. Arikl, Xga I Toa, Rawene. Prize, Victory. Little Jim, Kotiri, Rangi. Moana, Windward, Scout, Heartsease, Waione, Gloriana. The handicaps will be declared to-morrow. Class M contest will be sailed in conjunction with the Akar.. 1a Yacht Club's race for class M, and will «tart at 3.10. The entries are Mollie. Maroro, Manene. Mawbiti. Matarere, all scr. MANUKAU YACHT CLUB. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. The open championship yacht race of the Manukau Club which was not finished last Saturday owing to lack of wind, will be resailed to-morrow at .30 The competitors are:—l Limelight, 2 I Merry Jest, 3 Nyria. 4 Valdora. 5 Mistral. I A start will be made between the club--1 house and mark buoy, thence bc'ween Man- [ gere Beacon and black buoy, thence round red buoy off Horn, thence round black buoy at Mangere Beacon, thence round red buoy or Horn, thence between Mangere Beacou and black buoy. Finishing between wharf and Mangere Steeple. The open championship of the Manukau. j for yachts not exceeding 14ft and for speed boats (all comers), will be held under the auspices of the club on March 12. All nominations will close on March 7. In either or both cases the nomination fee will be registration with the club, that Is, the boat and two members of the crew must be registered with the club. In the speed boat championship the White Horse Cup is held, together with a pennant, and the champion 14-footer will hold the Dennes Cur for one year, the skipper receiving a gold medal.
