SEQUEL TO ACCIDENT.

WAIHI, this dav.
William Hicks, aged 45, an old resident of Waihi, who was a prominent member of the Methodist Church, died suddenly at his farm, Waihi Plains, last evening. During haymaking operations last Monday Mr. Hicks strained himself rather severely, but anticipated no serious results. The effect of the strain.
however, terminated in heart failure Deceased was a widower, and leaves one
