FIRE AT GREYMOUTH.

FURNITURE FACTORY GUTTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Thursday. A lire, which broke out at 1.45 p.m. to-day in the furniture factory of Charles Uddstrom, Mackay Street, gutted tlie shop and the workrooms, and, spreading to an adjacent store, owned by Moss and Co., caused considerable damage there. The factory, owned by Mrs. Butler, of Gladstone Siding, was insured for about £1000. The contents, all lost, were insured for £1500 in the Alliance Office. Moss and Co.'s insurances on the store and stock totalled £2250.
