Mr. C. Pyle, manager for Mile. Suzanne Lenglen, states that Suzanne has made £20,000 profit out of her professional exhibitions of the game.
Mile. Lenglen received a fiat guarantee of £12,000, and also 50 per cent, of the net gate receipts.
Vincent Richards was guaranteed £7000, and Miss Mary Browne £0000, and each also received 5 per cent of the gate receipts.
The present tour brought Mr. Pyle f 1 '10,000 in gate receipts. He has estimated his profits at £10,000 to £15,000. Exhibitions of tennis were given in forty American cities. As a result of the success achieved, he has in contemplation a world tour this year. It would include visits to France, Germany, Japan, and Australia.
