A PAINFUL ACCIDENT.
While working with a mechanical scoop on a section at Remucra this morning, Mr. John Lupton, of 53, Spring Street, Onehunga, was painfully injured. The handle of the scoop fell, missing Mr. Lupton's head, but catching him on the groin, inflicting a wound about nine inches long. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance.
