A young woman, Leila Galey (21) t •whose parents reside in Washington Valley, Nelson, commenced work as a maid at the Wairau Hospital on Saturday, and disappeared on Sunday nisbt. She left a note which can be interpreted as meaning it was her intention to commit suicide. So far the police srarcli has been ineffective. The missing woman is sft 4i:i ia height, thick-set in build, iias brown Lafjr cut short with a fringe, and a curious glint in one eye. She was wearing a white dress, white stockings and Mack shoes.
