ORIENT STEAM NAVIGATION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) LONDON, December 9. The accounts of the Orient Steam Navigation Company for the year ended June 30 show that the profit, after providing for depreciations, amounted to £371,327 (against £329,791. for 1924-25), which, however, includes an unspecified transfer from contingency account. The service of the debentures and audit fee have to be deducted, and £200,000, as last year, is transferred to general reserve, raising it to £1,300,000. No change is made in the dividend on the deferred stock, at 12vi per cent, free of tax, and £56,034 is carried forward (against £32,195 brought in).
