MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Alburnia.The manager reports that driving hillward the reef is of a mullocky description composed of bands of tjuartz and country rock. The intermediate level has been started, and a distance of sft driven to date. The quartz broken, although not showing much value, is of a splendid description, and encased in good country. The wi ,ze has been sunk a further 4ft, aud the reef has carried values for the whole distance sunk, viz., 38ft. The reef is 12in in width, and at each breaking down nice strong gold is seen. What appears to be the main Orlando reef is now showing on the hangingwall side of the winze. It is extremely hard, with an underlie towards the branch we are sinking on.
