WORKS MANNED.
AGREEMENT REACHED. WORK PROCEEDING NORMALLY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTERTON, this day. Inquiries made in official quarters at the Waingawa meat works this morning elicited the information that an agreement had been reached between the company and the butchers, satisfactory to both sides, and that work was proceeding normally. This means that the 30 butchers previously engaged before the dispute, have resumed work. The free*labourers, who were slaughtering, have returned home.
