UNUSUAL ACCIDENT.

CAR CAUGHT IN TOW ROPE. (By Telegraph—Special to "S'bar.") PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. A somewhat unusual motor accident happened near Linton yesterday. . Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Nielson, of Palmerston North, were out motoring when their car gave trouble, and they gladly accepted an offer of another motorist to tow them back to town. All went well until the tow rope fouled one of the front wheels of Mr. Nielson's car, and caused the vehicle to strike a post by the roadside. The force of the impact damaged the fore portion of the vehicle, and Mr 3. Nielson was thrown against the windscreen. She sustained some severe cuts about the head, necessitating the insertion of several stitches. Mr. Nielson escaped injury.
