MORE IMMIGRANTS.

ROTORUA BRINGS 203. EJOYABLE VOYAGE FROM HOME. In high spirits and eager to try their fortunes in a new land, a further batch of 203 assisted immigrants reached Auckland from London by the liner Rotorua this morning. Many of the new settlers were welcomed at the wharf by friends, who had come to New Zealand earlier this year. Leaving Southampton on November 17, the Rotorua encountered north-wes-terly gales for the first three days at sea, the majority of the passengers suffering from sea sickness. After the storm area had been cleared, however, fine weather was experienced for the emainder of the run across the Atlantic, and al-so in crossing the Pacific. Minor sicknesses occurred during the voyage, chiefly among the children, of whom there were 55, but there were no serious outbreaks, and all on board were in the best of health when the ship reached port to-day. Stops were made at Curacao, where the ship replenished her oil supply; Colon, Balboa and Pitrairn Island. One night was spent at Balboa, where the passengers were able to enjoy a spell ashore. At Pitcairn Island the Rotorua exchanged letters and greetings with the liner Ruahine, which had called there on her Homeward voyage from Napier. The usual concerts, dances and sports meetings were held, all the passengers entering into the spirit of the festivities in good style, and the voyage, generally, was highly enjoyable. The destinations of the immigrants are as follow: —
