TAKEN TO HOSPITAL.

THREE CASUALTIES. A bus knocked down Mr. William Arthur Prime in Symonds Street last night. As a result, Mr. Prime, who is 58 years of age, and resides at 1, Abbott's Road, Mount Eden, was removed to the Auckland Hospital. It was found that his right leg fractured. His knife slipping while in the act of killing a sheep, Mr. Fred. James Darlow, of Manurewa, aged 34 years, cut his right knee, and although the injury ■was not dangerous, he was taken to the Auckland Hospital. Another patient admitted to the institution last evening was Miss Halcyione Holden, aged 17, who required treatment for ptomaine poisoning. Miss Holden, who had been staying with Mrs. Ohlson, of Main Road, Kohimarama, had eaten gome tinned fruit. The tin had been opened for some days. This morning it was reported that her condition was not serious.
