IS WIRELESS IN ITS INFANCY?
It has been said that the radio receiver of to-day is obsolete to-morrow. Part of this statement is no doubt true, for the receiving set of to-morrow is also doomed to the scrap heap. This knowledge has unquestionably kept a number of people from installing wireless, and it has been keenly felt by those in the trade. The only solution seems to be in purchasing your radio set from a firm who employs a radio engineer with qualifications, and have an understanding—in writing—at the time of purchase, that should any radical change take place in circuit design during the time you are the owner of the set that it will be kept up-to-date for you at a small cost. While this seems to be asking for .the impossible, an Auckland firm—Associated Agencies, Ltd., 45, High •Street—are prepared to commit themselves to this in the purchase of any radio instrument of any make, no matter whether a humble one-valver or an elaborate multi-valve creation.
