RECORD PRICES.
VEGETABLES IN SYDNEY. (Received 12 noon.) SYDNEY, this day. Following a long spell of dry weather, and despite consignments from other States and New Zealand, vegetables are selling at record prices. Peas are bringing 32/ against 10/ last Christmas. Beans have risen from 5/ to 30/. Cabbages from 9/ a dozen to 14/. Tomatoes from 9/ to 30/ a case. Potatoes are very scarce and prices art Mgh.
