— • i i ■— APPEAL LIST OPENED. A subscription list has been opened at the town clerk's office, in the Town Hall, in response to an appeal by the Dobson coalmine disaster relief committee. In opening the list this morn- 1 ing, the City Council made a donation 1 of £50. - The Mayor (Mr. Geo. Baildon), commends the appeal to the citizens. t _ Circular letters of appeal, which are i signed by the chairmen of the various a local bodies at Greymouth, and also by \ the two members of Parliament for the i district and the representative of the s Greymouth Miners' Union, are being a circulated to the various local bodies c throughout New Zealand. *
