DUKE TO TRY HIS LUCK.

WONDERFUL SPORT IN N.Z. PLEASANT ANTICIPATIONS. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 19. The Duke of York is daily studying newspaper reports on current events in Australia and New Zealand to familiarise himself with them. He is especially pleased to notice that the New Zealand deep sea fishing season has opened, and he hopes to try his skill at landing something really big. He has often read of New Zealand's wonderful fishing, and some of his friends had told him tales of the wonderful sport there. He himself is a keen fisherman, and seizes every chance of trout and salmou fishing in Scotland. His largest capture is a 401b salmon, but he fears this is only a puuy affair in comparison with New Zealand catches.
