PRESENTATION.
SEVEN YEARS' SERVICE. At a meeting of the Papakura Fire Brigade held on Tuesday last, it was decided to hold the second aunn.il smoke concert on Saturday, January loth. The secretary, Firemau H. E. Thorbum. was presented with a two-year service bar. The captain, J. E. Woodhoiise, in making the presentation, congratulated Fireman Thorburn on his completion of his seven years' service. Fireman Thorburn, in reply, thanked the members and ofiicers for their congratulations, and stressed the point of attending every meeting and practice in connection with the fire brigade to gain the honours of the service.
