V.M.C.A. IN ITALY. FASCIST RAISE OBJECTIONS. ROME, November 15. Claiming that Roman Catholicism is the national religion of Italy and that the V.M.C.A. is an organisation engaged in proselytising, the Fascist Press is raising strong objection to the association's activities. Strong criticism has also been directed at Rotary clubs, which began on similar lines to those in Britain and the States, and were taken up byprominent Fascists, but these jave now been approved.
