ONEHUNGA INFANT SCHOOL.

THE SANITARY ARRANGEMENTS. Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., has forwarded the following telegram to the Hon. R. A. Wright, Minister of Education, Wellington: "In the patter of the unsatisfactory sanitary arrangements at the Onehunga Infant School, for which you instructed the Auckland Education Board to call tenders for the work a month ago, no progress has been made. There is an outbreak of diphtheria in an Auckland suburb, and parents here are greatly concerned. The Auckland Education Board delayed the erection oi the infant school four months after instructions to call tenders, and if the same thing happens in connection with the drainage, there will be serious results. Had 1 better have the work proceeded with, as the sanitary accommodation is in a filthy condition?"
