SIR ARTHUR MYERS.
DISPOSAL OF ESTATE. MINOR BENEFACTIONS. Sir Arthur Myers' will, after providing for the payment of certain specified legacies and annuities, leaves the whole of his estate to the members of his family. Sir Arthur declared that he made no further bequests in view of the extent of his donations and gifts for public purposes to the citizens of Auckland, but provided the sum of £2000 for the purchase of pictures for the city, and a sum of £500 to the Hebrew congregation for charitable purposes. He furtner declared that, in the event of any share of his estate not vesting or having been disposed of under the trusts of his will, the same should be held upon trust for such charitable or educational purposes or institutions in the city of Auckland as his trustees might direct.
