WHANGAREI CARGOES.
c • TOWN WHARF SHIPMENTS. NEW CONDITIONS. .By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent. i WHANGAREI, this day. It was stated at the Harbour Board meeting to-day by Mr. W. M. Fraser (engineer), that the cargo trade to the town wharf had increased considerably since the Ngapuhi had been taken off the Onerahi run. The engineer said further that goods which were formerly landed at Onerahi and sent forward by rail transit, wer now conveyed direct by motor to Hikurangi, Portland, Onerahi and other parts of the district, as well as being distributed amongst the borough consignees. He anticipated a further increase next month.
