POLICE STATION YARD. MAX "SHADOWS" HIS WIFE. (By Telegraph—Special to "Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A charge of having been found in the police station yard without lawful excuse was preferred at the Magistrate's Court against Duncan Henderson Craig (22). Craig "shadowed' , his wife when she went to the police station to complain about his conduct. He took shelter in the sub-inspector's garden beside the station, and when driven from there he jumped over the fence into the police station yard. When found there lie jumped another fence into the street, but was captured after a chase. Craig pleaded guilty. He said he followed his wife because he wanted to speak to her. He was convicted and discharged.
