THE VEIL AGA.
RETURN TO FAtsili The* veil has mysteriously returned to fashion, writes a London correspondent. Women commented with surprise at the veiled hate worn at one of the smartest dress parades of the season, held in the middle of May. "But no one wears veils now," they remarked, even when a tall mannequin walked through the showroom with a flowing veil of fine beige net disporting itself halfway down her back in the graceful old-fashioned way. She was followed by a 6econd one, whode fine meshed lace-edged veil was draped becomingly over her eyes, leaving the lower part of the face free. This was always one of the most alluring ways of wearing a veil. The icy winds of March proved the deciding factor in making women return to the veil. A woman correspondent reports that she counted six veiled women recently in as many minutes in Bond Street.
