PLOT IN TURKEY.
ATTEMPT AGAINST KEMAL.
CONSTANTINOPLE. June 20.
It transpires in connection with the plot against the Dictator of Turkey, Mustapha Kemal Pasha, that ,the plotters were awaiting his arrival in SmjTni>. to carry out their designs, but the plot vras discovered just before his arrival. The extreme activity of the President himself and the instant search for persons likely to be involved in the contemplated outrage had good results, the Criminal Investigation Department seizing a large quantity of firearms and bombs. Among the large number of suspects who will be charged with complicity in the attempt against the life of Kemal are many persons of prominence in the political world.—{A. and X.Z.)
