CBy Telegraph.— Own Correspondent.i PAEEOA, this day. On Saturday night, the local police! recovered a new model Chevrolet car i abandoned on the sid-e of the Te Aroha ' road, near Paeroa. The car bears evidence of rough treatment. The registration number plates, the nickel-plated | kjc-k pVtes, and the chassis number ! plates were wrenched off and missin- ' Inqniries re%-eal ihat the ear was ! abandoned by two young men who hurried away from the spot. A car answer- ' ing the description of the one recovered j was reported a≤ stolen from ' on June If;. It is presumed that the '■ car was driven from Tauranga over the Kaimai track towards Paeroa and there I abandoned. The police hope to make an I early arrest of the cu]pTh = .
