The second round of the captain's tourney was played by members of the Auckland Golf Club at Middlemore on Saturday. Out of the orisinal list of competitors, totalling lOC. 32 still remain to contest the third round next Saturday. The two scratch men, H. B. Lush and R. D. Wright, were in good form. Wright going out in 30 and Lusk being two under four at the loth. Those who had been eliminated in the captain's tourney took part in a bo"ey match. The winner was R. B. WilmotSitwell, handicap 8, who finished all square. Other cards returned were : E. L. Bartleet, 3, 1 down: S. J. Hanna, S, 1 down; \. W. Donald 14 2 down; P. H. Upton 11 3 down. GLENDOWIE CLUB.
