, SIX PEOPLE MURDERED. A GERMAN HORROR. BERLIN, June IS. A horrible crime was committed at Dortmund, near Essen. Six members of a iousehold were murdered, tlie perpetrator subsequently committing suicide. A drunken, unemployed butcher, named Blaschewski, attacked and killed with an axe his sleeping wife and their three children. Then the murderer went to another room and killed a lodger. Dropping his axe he next murdered tlie lodger's wife with a razor. Finally he killed himself. There were many onlookers, but they were all afraid to intervene.— (A. and -N.Z.)
