ENGLISH COUNTY CRICKET

LONDON, June 17

In the county cricket championships Kent in their first innings against Somerset were dismissed for 55 runs. White took four wickets for 14. Somerset in their first innings made 110. Wright took four wickets for 24 and llavdinge three for five. The match was abandoned through rain.

Surrey in their first innings against Essex scored .100 (Ducat 121). This match wtis also abandoned.

Bowling for Sussex against Worcester Bowlcy took four wickets for 11. For Worcester Bowles in the first innings took five wickets for 50 and in the second four for 20. Worcester won.

For Gloucester against Glamorgan Parker took six wickets for 55. For Glamorgan Ryan in the first innings took seven for 40 and in the second five for 50. Glamorgan won.

For Hampshire against Northants Boyes took four wickets for (i and Newman six for 42. Hampshire won.

Rain generally interfered with play. Some matches were not commenced.— (Renter.)
