DANCE ON PORT MELBOURNE.

A delightful dance was held on the liner Port Melbourne last evening, a number of couples being the guests of Captain F. J. Kearney and his officers. The steamer's spacious boat deck was gaily decorated with bunting, festooning, and coloured which enhanced the beauty of the pretty frocks. A tasteful supper was provided and all present spent a most enjoyable evening. Among the guests were Mesdames Cadness, St. Clair-Whyte, Fox and Gosling, and Misses Johnstone, Clench, Pudney, St. Clair-Whyte (2), Cadness, Bateman, Grahame, and Hitching.
