OUR OBSOLETE SHIPS. ■ Received 11:30 a.m.) LONDON, June 11. The Navy League passed a resolution expressing grave apprehension at the retention of obsolete cruisers, because they gave an erroneous impression of the strength of the Royal Navy. The Dominions' shins should be excluded when compared with foreign navies. Sir Cyril Cobb eulogised the enthusiasm of the League's New Zealand branches.—(A. and N.Z.)
