MINOR ACCIDENTS.
JOCKEY AND FOOTBALLER. WEEK-END LIST. Several minor accidents occurred in the course of the week-end, and the p..dents received attention at the Auckland Hcepital. A jockey, Mr. S. Henderson, sustained slight injuries when his horse, Brushwood Boy, fell anel was killed in the Panmure Hurdles. He was brought into the hospital, but after receiving treatment at the casualty ward, was able to proceed to his -ome.
While taking part in a football match at Swanson on Saturday afternoon, Mr. G .Mettam dislocated his left knee. He was brought to the city by trai.n, and admitted to the hospital.
Mr. James Evans, of Woodward Avenue, Mangere, an engineer in the employ of the Northern Steamship Company, sustained injuries to the ribs last evening through falling while stepping from the scow Victory to the launch Pilot at Onehunga wharf. He was admittc to the hospital, but this morning his condition waa reported as being satisfactory
