S Lej-el.—At 80 feet in Bull"s north crosscut from the Martha lode the north leader was intersected. The first fifteen feet is a mixture of quartz and country, assaying 7/9 per ton. and the last five feet 30/3 per ton. Tlie course of the lode is W degrees, uuJ dip 1 in 3 east. Xo. 11 Level. Empire Lode, Centre Section. —In a crosscut at 104 fe«c east and measuring from south wall, first 60 feet is a mixture of quartz and country, assaying l/c per ton, and the last 8 feet 12/0 per ton. Martha Lode. —East of Kauri crosscut driving has been commenced, and the first 28 teet uasaya 2/6 per ton, and the nest 18 feet 25/6 per ton. Xo. 14 Level, Edward Lode.—ld the crosscut at 240 feet south the next 30 feet assays 6/G per ton. Martha Lode.—East of Xo. 4 shaft crosscut, in the crosscut at 547 feet, next 17 fcot assays 7/6 per ton. Dunlop South-east Crosscut. —The lode at 'Mil feet has beeu driven on to the. cast nine feet. The assay value is lfi/S per ton. and to the wpst IS feet, the assay value beinz 13/6 per ton.
