BURGLARY OF PREMISES.

CAPTURE OF THE INTRUDER. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, April 12. A burglar effected an entrance into the offices of the New Zealand Government on Sunday evening. The intruder smashed and opened a glass side door, broke into some desks, and took a typist's fur, overlooking a sum of nearly one hundred pounds. He twined the fur round his waist and descended a fire escape into the arms of waiting commissionaires. He was handed over to the police.— ("Sun.")
