LOSS OF THE LALEHAM.
ALL RANDS SAVED. NEW YORK, April 2. A wireless message from the Mauretania, which answered an S.O.S. call from the British cargo steamer Laleham, GOO miles south-east of Halifax, was received stating that the crew of the Laleham had been rescued from the helpless vessel by the steamer Shirvan, bound for Falmouth, England. It was not stated whether the Laleham had sunk or had been abandoned.— (A. and N.Z.—Reuter.)
