FIGURES FOR 1925. LONDON, April 2. The British Exchequer returns for the fiscal year ended March 31 show that revenue totalled £812,000,000, and expenditure chargeable against revenue. £826,000,000. The Chancellor, Mr. Winston Churchill, estimated the revenue at £801,000,000. When the coal subsidy payments, which amount to £17,962.000, are taken into reckoningipthe deficit is converted into an actual surplus of £3,962,000, compared with Mr. Churchill's estimate of £1,000,000.—(A and N.Z.—Reuter.)
