CONFERENCE IN SYDNEY. (Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The conference of the Australian Labour party has begun. As a trial of strength the rival factions took a test vote on the question of appointing timekeepers. This resulted in the antiexecutive faction securing a majority of twenty over the pro-executive party — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
