THE EXHIBITION.
EASTER VISITORS. A RUSH TO DUNEDIN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The decision of the Exhibition directors to open Logan Park on Good Friday was strikingly responded to, 30.82G" people passing through the turnstiles yesterday. The huge attendance was a remarkable testimony to two facts—the drawing power of the Exhibition itself, and the attraction of the famous Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders" Band for tbe amusement park was closed all day and a good part of the Exhibition itself was under cover, as the directors had ordained that all selling stalls should close. Further, the weather yesterday was cold and blustery. To-day il i~ tine and mild, and as all departments of the Kxhibition will be ill full >\\ii!g. another monster attendance i~ expected. The city ir- full of visitors. A mile and a-halt' of express trains, eight in number, arrived from Christchurch on Thursday and into Friday morningFive more came yesterday, three arrive to-day. and five each on Monday and Tuesday. From all the indications, therefore, Easter week will be the biggest in the history of the Exhibition. ___,
