It was a formidable task, but the programme was carried through like clock work to a satisfactory finish. Among the visitors was ilx. H. Longworth, director of physical training for the Xew Zealand primary schools, and he acted as judge of the physical drill for girls. The wonderful fine physique of the girls was a feature on which Mr. Longworth specially commented, and in awarding the championship to the Papatoetoe school team, he remarked that their display was an inspiration. The Myers Cup for most points in hoys' events was won br Ot-ahnhu school, and the Champion Shield for most points in the girls' events went to Epsom school.
