A BIG CONTRACT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.! GISBORNE, this day. It is reported that the British firm of Yickers. Ltd.. have secured the contract for the erection of the viaduct over the Mohaka River, on the Gis-borne-Xapjer section of the East Coast railway. The magnitude of the contraci. can be judged from the fact that the viaduct will be 373 feet above the water, which is believed to lie a Southern Hemisphere record.
