DOMINION METHODISTS.
BIBLE CLASS CAMP. (By Telegraph.—l'ress Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. The Dominion Methodist Young Men's Bible Class camp, commemorating the 21 years of the existence of the movement, is being held on the showgrounds, where ISO campers are billeted. The Good Friday service was conducted by the Rev. W. Arthur Hay, of Christchurch, Elocutionary competitions were held in the afternoon, the New Zealand championships being won by Mr. A. T. Gandell. of Christchurch, the runner-up Mr. Hurley, of Wellington. The class championship was won by Messrs Armitage, Oaridge and Gandell, of East Belt, Christchurch. In the evening a birthday reunion was held in Baring Square schoolroom. A long toast list was honoured and a very spirited meeting resulted. To-day is sports day.
